Job summary

Oerlikon Group in Geneva, IL seeks a reliable Inspector (Parts Handler) to join the production team. You will inspect finished products, repackages items, and ensure accurate shipment while translating product requirements into clear production specifications.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with opportunities to learn across departments and participate in a Quality Council.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience ordering supplies via the Internet.
• Experience with MS Word and Internet Explorer.
• Strong work ethic, be high-energy, and detailed-oriented.
• Able to lift 44lbs.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and co-workers in a ‘customer-friendly’ manner
• Receive and inspect customer product for processing
• Establish product process sequence
• Inspect finished product
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Learn new skills and cross-train into various department
• Act as member of the monthly ‘Quality Council’
• Being cross-trained in other areas of production
