Job summary

Nemera in Buffalo Grove, IL is seeking a Quality Inspector to assist the Quality Lead and Operational Quality Manager in coordinating quality objectives across the company and improving process efficiency.

You will read drawings, inspect products, document results, and approve lot documentation while ensuring conformance to specifications. The role requires at least 1 year in quality and ability to lift 30 lbs and stand 75% of shifts, with a 12-hour rotating night shift.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in quality department.
• Ability to use gauges, fixtures, and leak testers.
• Experience with SPC software.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret part drawings to determine inspection procedures.
• Analyze test data and determine results.
• Reject non-conforming products and materials.
• Prepare nonconformance and deviation reports.
• Document lot records and approvals to ensure compliance.
• Mark items with grade and acceptance or rejection status.
• Support continuous improvement and policy compliance.
