Job summary

Nemera is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in Buffalo Grove, IL. You will assist the Quality Lead and Operations in coordinating objectives to maximize product quality and system effectiveness, while ensuring adherence to cGMP and ISO standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of quality experience, an Associate degree, and skills with gauges, fixtures, leak testing, and SPC tools. The role requires standing most of the shift and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience within the quality profession.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Ability to use gauges, inspection fixtures, and leak testing equipment.
• Ability to use software productivity tools such as Statistical Process Control.
• Able to stand 75% of the shift and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute objectives to maximize product quality and efficiency.
• Support policies including cGMP, ISO standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Read and interpret part drawings, data, manuals to determine specs and inspection methods.
• Analyze test data to determine results.
• Collect samples for testing and modeling.
• Compare products to color standards for conformance.
• Review lot documentation for compliance and approve where appropriate.
• Reject nonconforming products and materials.
• Discuss inspection results and propose corrective actions.
• Inspect and measure materials using required instruments.
• Mark items with grade and status.
• Write nonconformance, rework, and deviation reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
