Job summary

Nemera is seeking a Lead Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift at the Vernon Hills, IL facility to lead the Quality Inspection team and safeguard product quality. You will direct QC inspectors, plan schedules, review data, and support batch release and CoC/CoA creation.

The role requires coordinating with the Operational Quality Manager and aligning with cGMP standards, with responsibilities including investigations, training, and mentoring to ensure top-tier quality across production lines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3+ years related experience with 1 year in a leadership role.
• Ability to perform all quality inspector duties and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Strong knowledge of inspection tools, processes and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise Quality Inspectors to ensure product quality.
• Plan work schedules and production sequences to meet goals.
• Review data and documentation for accuracy and timely processing.
• Analyze statistics to improve quality plans and standards.
• Assist in batch release and CoC/CoA creation.
• Support FDA/ISO compliance and continuous improvement.
