We are a highly automated manufacturer specializing in zinc and aluminum die casting, machining, and product assembly, serving markets such as appliance, telecommunications, electronics, electrical equipment, automotive, transportation, industrial equipment, instrumentation, aerospace, and defense.

The Quality Inspector works within a team to uphold ISO IATF 16949 standards on machined parts, following detailed technical instructions. This is a third shift position working Sunday night (11pm) through Friday morning (7am).

Job Requirements

• Visual Inspection
• Thread gauging
• Experience with Micrometers and Calipers
• Ability to read and follow detailed technical instructions
• Ability to read blueprints
• Basic Computer skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong work ethic; overtime as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of geometric tolerance and dimensioning

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure conformity to product requirements
• Measure angular dimensions, radii, contours, clearances, thread lead, etc.
• Test units for fit and mechanical function
• Test parts for hardness
• Inspect first run, in-process, trial, and final parts and assemblies
• Perform process inspections on aluminum and zinc castings
• Audit operators and processes; report issues
• Maintain quality files
• Perform other duties as assigned
