About the job Quality Inspector Machine Operator

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector / Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations, while also operating production machinery. The Quality Inspector / Machine Operator will be responsible for conducting inspections, audits, and tests to verify product integrity and adherence to specifications, and operating production machinery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct thorough quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
  • Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing product quality.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance.
  • Operate and monitor production machinery.
  • Perform quality checks on products during the production process.
  • Assist with machine setup and changeovers as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist with other production tasks as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines.
  • Will train the right candidate.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills to report findings clearly and concisely.
