Job summary

PCC Aerostructures in Arlington, TX seeks a Quality Inspector – Level 1 to learn and apply GD&T, perform in-process and final inspections on machined parts and assemblies, and verify part IDs and configurations.

You will read blueprints, use inspection tools such as micrometers, height gauges, protractors, and basic PC-DMIS, and operate in a 6S manufacturing environment while supporting daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Strong math and measurement skills for shop floor QA.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and specs.
• Familiarity with GD&T and inspection documentation.

Responsibilities

• Work Order Interaction and proper job clocking.
• Perform basic visual inspection and measurements.
• Use inspection tools such as height gauges, micrometers, calipers.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings accurately.
• Maintain equipment and area cleanliness (6S).
• Protect and handle parts properly; manage non-conforming parts (NCR).
• Contribute to productivity and quality; meet daily goals.
• Complete Inspection Plans as provided.
• Understand Quality requirements in manuals and PSPs.
