Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Quality Inspector III for Final Inspection on the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm) at our Orchard Park, NY site. The role focuses on inspecting parts, assemblies and documentation to ensure conformance with drawings and specifications.

You will perform receiving, in-process and final inspections, follow approved checklists and work instructions, and document nonconformances. Experience with GD&T, AS9102 and APQP is preferred; Lean Six Sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware controlled by US export laws; eligible: US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• 3 years of experience with mechanical and visual inspection of parts and assemblies.
• 3 years of experience using business class software in a professional setting.
• Must live within 50 miles of Orchard Park, NY.
