Job summary

Eaton's IS AER MSD division is seeking a Quality Inspector III for Final Inspection on the 1st shift. The role hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and the hourly rate is $27.00-$31.00.

You will perform receiving, in-process and final inspections of parts and assemblies, use inspection checklists and drawings, and document non-conformances while ensuring Environmental, Health, and Safety are part of daily activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• 3 years of experience with mechanical and visual inspection of parts and assemblies.
• 3 years of experience using business class software in a professional employment setting.
• Must live within 50 miles of Orchard Park, NY

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lean Six Sigma, Advanced Part Quality Planning (APQP), Engineering Drawing interpretation, Workmanship Standards, Military and Federal Specifications, basis GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, First Article Inspection (FAI) AS9102, ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification.
