Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Quality Inspector II to inspect incoming materials, parts and packaged goods, perform in-process checks, and ensure products meet specifications. You will document variances, analyze data, and assist with disposition of non-conforming material.

Responsibilities include visual and dimensional inspections, barcode verification, data entry on control charts, and maintaining inspection records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, good math and analytical skills.
• Experience with inspection equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex visual and dimensional inspections on incoming and first article inspections as well as during in-process inspection.
• Enters data on control charts and documents out-of-print dimensions. Notifies Lead when inspection data does not meet acceptable limits.
• Maintains inspection and auditing records, mechanical drawings and procedure manuals as well as creates non-conforming material reports using the NCMR system.
• Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipment.
• Adjust output or indication of various instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy of the measurements taken using the equipment. Maintains records of accuracy. ("If Applicable").
