Job summary

Hillphoenix in Virginia is seeking a hands-on Inspector to ensure incoming shipments meet specifications. You will inspect cases and parts, mentor others, and help maintain safe, organized production and warehouse areas.

Responsibilities include data collection, measuring to prints with calipers, micrometers and CMM, and collaboration with Purchasing, Final Assembly and Quality teams. Overtime and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months related experience or training.
• ASQ certification beneficial; electronics/mechanical systems a plus.
• Must read and interpret customer orders, prints and wiring diagrams.
• Use of measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.) required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cases and parts for conformance to prints.
• Collect data and chart results for quality tracking.
• Measure parts to prints using calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
• Interface with Purchasing, Final Assembly and other teams.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory storage locations.
• Operate forklifts, shipping trucks and hand trucks as needed.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and performance procedures.
