Job summary

Rain Bird is seeking a Quality Inspector II to join our quality team. The role focuses on inspecting molded components, sub-assemblies, and finished products, ensuring conformance to quality specs and process controls.

You will interpret SPC charts, assist in containment and corrective actions, and support cross-training initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a high-volume production environment.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret quality specifications and inspection/control plans.

Informs production personnel of non-conforming material, aids in the investigation of causes, material containment and corrective action, and follows up on the effectiveness of action taken. Prepares various logs, reports and documentation of QC processes, may assist with cross training others. Is trained in more than two areas of the plant and has 3+ years of experience as an inspector.

The Quality Inspector II is a critical part of the quality team to achieve day-to-day safety, quality and plant goals. Trains, monitors and coordinates the work of temporary labor and other operators.
