Job summary

Hydraulics International, Inc (HII) is seeking a Quality Inspector II to perform visual inspection, surface plate layout, and in-process/final inspections of manufactured, purchased and assembled items to ensure conformance with drawings and customer specifications. The role requires attention to quality, detail, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Work involves using standard inspection tools, ERP data entry, and collaboration with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of visual inspection and quality control methods.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, PO/contract requirements.
• Experience with inspecting raw materials, in-process and final products.
• Familiarity with inspection data recording and ERP systems.
• Ability to use standard inspection equipment listed above.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, surface plate layout, and final inspections per drawings and requirements.
• Complete inspection paperwork, test records, and input quality data into ERP.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate inspection results to relevant personnel and departments.
• Support continuous improvement and participate in training programs.
