Job summary

Grifols Diagnostic Solutions in San Diego, California seeks a Quality Inspector 2 to inspect incoming raw materials and finished components to ensure conformance with Quality specifications.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of related experience with a High School diploma or 0–2 years with an Associate degree; knowledge of GMP/QSR and basic measurement devices is required, ASQ CMI is a plus. May assist in training new employees.

Qualifications

• GMP/QSR knowledge required.
• Basic measurement devices knowledge.
• ASQ CMI certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspects raw materials, components and finished devices.
• Maintains inspection records.
• Samples material for QC testing.
• Completes inspection records per GMP/QSR and maintains records.
• Performs lab maintenance per written protocols (e.g. cleaning, equipment calibration).
• Creates or revises documents as needed.
• Performs periodic trouble-shooting and special assignments.
• Reviews and checks documents for final quality approval.
• May assist in training new employees.
