Job summary

Grifols Diagnostic Solutions in Emeryville, CA is seeking a Senior QC Analyst. The Senior QC Analyst will coordinate and perform critical material qualification and maintenance and/or other projects in addition to typical release, reference/reagent qualification and stability testing.

To qualify, a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Immunology with 3 years in a regulated GMP testing laboratory, or an MS degree with 1+ year, is required.

Qualifications

• Must have substantial assay testing experience in GMP settings.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
• Familiar with GMPs and Quality System Regulations (QS Regs).
• Strong time management and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform assays for designated laboratory.
• Routine in-process and final product testing for release.
• Assay development, method validation and troubleshooting.
• Assist with OOS investigations and OE projects.
• Train staff on test methods and ensure EH&S compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology
