Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a Quality Inspector 2 to join the Monroe, WI facility on the 2nd shift (roughly 3:00pm–11:00pm). Starting pay is $18.75 per hour with a $2.00 per hour shift differential.

The role inspects printed materials, performs quality tests, and ensures products meet customer specs and internal standards. The candidate will follow SOPs, document defects, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience in a quality control/assurance function.
• Strong oral and written communication to explain quality policy, methods and/or procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work onsite in Monroe, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform samples selection and package for shipment.
• Perform visual inspection of random samples for defects such as ragged edges, torn or wrinkled pages, incomplete cuts, incorrect bindings, smeared or blotched colors, dirt, misalignment.
• Follow inspection checklist and record identified defects.
• Follow SOPs to ensure conformance with customer specifications.
• Prepare written reports and notify management of defects.
• Identify issues and involve leads to determine solutions.
• Assist with special projects or disposition of defective product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
