Job summary

RR Donnelley in Monroe, Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Inspector 2 for the 2nd shift (approximately 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm). The role inspects printed materials and conducts quality tests to ensure products meet customer specifications and company standards.

Responsibilities include sampling, visual inspection for defects, following SOPs, and preparing defect reports. Requires 2+ years in quality control and strong attention to detail. Shift differential applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years in quality control/assurance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform samples selection and package for shipment.
• Visually inspect products for defects (ragged edges, tears, color issues, misalignment, etc.).
• Follow inspection checklist and record defects.
• Adhere to SOPs to ensure conformance to customer specifications.
• Prepare written reports and notify management of defects.
• Identify issues and involve lead/management for solutions.
• Assist with special projects or complex orders.
• Assist with disposition of defective products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
