Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a Quality Inspector 2 for the Monroe, WI location on the 2nd shift (approx. 3:00pm to 11:00pm). The role inspects printed materials, performs quality tests, and ensures products meet customer specs and company standards.

The position includes a $2.00 per hour shift differential and a pay range of $18.75 to $21.25 per hour. The Quality Inspector will perform sample selections, visual inspections, record defects, and follow SOPs to maintain quality conformance, with

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
2+ years of experience in a quality control/assurance function required.
Knowledge of general administrative and manufacturing operations procedures."
Strong oral and written communication to explain quality policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform samples selection and package for shipment.
Visually inspect random samples for defects (ragged edges, torn pages, incorrect bindings, etc.).
Follow inspection checklist and record identified defects.
Adhere to SOPs to ensure conformance to customer specifications.
Prepare written reports and notify management of defects.
Identify issues and coordinate with leads/management for solutions.
May assist with special projects or disposition of defective products.
Perform other duties as assigned.
