Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a Quality Inspector 2 for the Monroe, WI location on 2nd shift (approx. 3:00pm to 11:00pm).

The role involves inspecting printed materials and performing quality tests to ensure products meet customer specifications and company standards. The position offers a starting pay of $18.75 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential, with opportunities for overtime and benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a quality control/assurance function required.
• Knowledge of general administrative and manufacturing operations procedures.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to explain quality policy and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines and coordinate with others.
• Very good attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Onsite work in Monroe, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample selection and package for shipment.
• Perform visual inspection of random samples for defects (ragged edges, tears, misalignment, etc.).
• Follow inspection checklist and record identified defects.
• Follow SOPs to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
• Prepare written reports and notify management of defects.
• Identify issues and involve leads/management for solutions.
• Assist with special projects or complex orders.
• Assist with disposition of defective or non-conforming product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
