Advanced Molding Technologies seeks a Quality Inspector I for Weekday Evenings in Circle Pines, MN. The role performs inspections of raw materials, components, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure conformance to requirements.

You will document results and support traceability in a medical device/component manufacturing environment. Starting pay ranges from $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 shift premium for 2nd shift, and starting pay is based on experience.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of recent quality control, quality inspection or quality assurance experience.
• Previous experience in injection molding or medical device manufacturing preferred.
• Previous experience using measuring instruments, documenting inspection results, or following manufacturing inspection instructions preferred.
• Previous experience using ERP systems preferred; experience with IQMS is an advantage.

Mansioni

• Inspect raw materials, components, in-process parts, and finished products using approved inspection instructions, specifications, drawings, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections and tests using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and semi-automated or automated inspection equipment after appropriate training.
• Document inspection and test results in required records, reports, and quality databases, including nonconformance information and tracking of rework, scrap, and waste.
• Review product labeling and packaging against approved requirements; apply inspection stamps, tags, or other status identification in accordance with procedures.
• Identify and report suspected nonconforming material; support labeling, segregation, and documentation to prevent unintended use or shipment.
• Communicate inspection findings promptly to Quality and Production personnel; elevate recurring defects and unclear decisions.
