Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a QC Inspector I to inspect materials, components, and finished products to ensure quality and safety in manufacturing or distribution environments. You will document results, use measurement tools, and report defects while collaborating with teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in PPE, and thrive in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail and basic math skills.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Attention to detail with basic math skills.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in PPE.
Able to work in hot/cold environments in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products.
Document inspection results and maintain records.
Use measurement tools to verify dimensions and specs.
Identify and report defects or non-conformities.
Collaborate with production/distribution teams to address issues and implement corrective actions.
Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
Assess inbound damaged finished goods and repackage.
Support stock checks, recalls, relabeling, and other projects as assigned.
Operate powered material handling equipment if required.
Read and interpret instructions, blueprints and documents.
Comply with SOPs, Quality Systems, OSHA guidelines, and Medline policies.
