Job summary

Medline is hiring a QC Inspector I to ensure product quality and safety in manufacturing or distribution environments. You will inspect materials and finished products, document findings, and report discrepancies while collaborating with teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and familiarity with quality standards. Training in GMP/GDP/ISO is expected, and the position may involve PPE and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math and measurement conversion skills.
• Familiarity with GMP, GDP, ISO, or 21CFR 820, 210-211.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Use measurement tools to verify dimensions and specifications.
• Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production/distribution teams to address issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Assess inbound damaged finished goods and repackage as needed.
• Support inventory checks, recalls, deviations, relabeling, and product rework.
