Allfast Fastening Systems LLC is seeking a quality inspector to perform routine inspection and testing of in-process and finished products at our City of Industry, CA location. You will coordinate workflow, maintain calibration of instruments, and generate inspection reports.
You will use micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and Keyence systems, ensuring compliance with GD&T and blueprints while meeting safety and productivity standards.

Performs routine inspection and testing of product in process and/or finished products using precision measuring tools and equipment. Organizes and prioritizes departmental work flow to ensure effective use of departmental resources.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine inspection reports.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Understand basic shop math.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to perform complex duties where a high level of independent judgment and action is required.
Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints, specifications, procedures and work instructions.
Understand Basic GD&T (reference ASME Y14.5)
Skilled in the set up and use of precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, protrusion gauges, optical comparators, tri-roll gauges, etc.
Proven ability to perform mechanical and physical testing on product, such as conductivity testing, drivability testing, shear testing, tensile testing, etc.
Ability to read and understand a manufacturing work order sequence of operations.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), Certificate related to inspection or mechanical testing from technical school completed or in progress, 0-2 years experience in aerospace manufacturing/inspection. Aerospace fasteners preferred.

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $19.00 - $29.86
