SUMMARY

The Quality Inspector tests and inspects products at various production stages, compiling and evaluating data to ensure product quality and reliability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Review Integra to ensure jobs match customer specifications.
2. Review submittal drawings for correct layout according to specifications.
3. Verify legends for correct model, voltage, circuit order, and valve sizes.
4. Inspect piping on racks and assemblies according to work instructions.
5. Record major findings on the Quality Assurance Inspection Form.
6. Perform leak checking and vacuum testing for parallel units, following procedures.
7. Verify vacuum test results meet standards.
8. Interpret engineering drawings and schematics, consulting with management or engineering staff.
9. Evaluate data and prepare reports on deviations from standards.
10. Recommend modifications to improve quality or production standards.
11. Set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials and products.
12. Prepare data graphs or charts; enter data into computer systems.
13. Upload job data, photos, and results into Integra, perform quality transactions.
14. Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure corrections are completed per instructions.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Must understand quality assurance practices, structural, ventilation, electrical power/control concepts, proficient in Microsoft Office, capable of managing multiple tasks, attentive to detail, excellent communication skills, dependable, and flexible.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED; electrical and/or mechanical background; understanding of electrical power systems.

Pay Range: - [per hour / annually]
