Description

As a Data Center Quality Inspector I, you will provide exceptional quality control services for our clients. Your responsibilities include performing inspections of electrical equipment and systems such as switchgear and substations. A detailed knowledge of mechanical and instrumentation systems is essential for conducting inspections and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications. You will ensure that equipment and technicians comply with safety standards, prepare detailed reports on your findings, and handle documentation such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requests, team reports, and time tracking. Your role is crucial in ensuring our clients receive safely installed and fully functional equipment.

If you are analytical, detail-oriented, and prioritize safety while communicating effectively, this position might be suitable for you. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

1. Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications; prepare documentation including daily work reports and special inspection reports.
2. Perform inspections of switchgear, standby generators, protective relays, and other electrical distribution components.
3. Submit LOTO requests, review and approve team reports, and manage time tracking.
4. Ensure compliance with all safety requirements at the company and site levels.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education degree preferred.
• At least two years of experience inspecting, testing, commissioning, or operating electrical distribution systems. Commercial or naval nuclear experience is highly desirable.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety training.
• Commitment to excellence and maintaining high standards.
