Ravelin Defense in Green Bay, WI seeks a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to read complex drawings and welding symbols, perform FAIs, and ensure GD&T conformance. The role requires independent work, the ability to train others, and effective communication with production teams.

You will inspect parts, document results, and prepare customer reports while validating certifications and following nonconforming material procedures. Safety and speed are essential.

Formación

• Must read and interpret complex drawings and welding symbols.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and interpretation skills.
• Experience with First Article Inspections (FAIs).
• Capable of independent work and training others.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret complex project drawings and welding symbols
• Inspection tool usage: tape measure, caliper, pin gauges, protractor, thread gauges, radius gauges, height gauges, bore mics, ROMER arm
• Ability to work independently and train others
• Complete complex First Article Inspections (FAIs)
• Thorough knowledge of customers’ requirements
• Thorough knowledge of GD&T
• Ability to answer questions from production floor
• Perform a variety of parts and product inspections to meet company and customer requirements
• Inspect incoming sub-out parts
• Document results of inspections
• Gather data and create reports for customers
• Communicate quality discrepancies to shop supervisors
• Validate material and process certifications, and inspection documentation
• Follow the Nonconforming Material process
• Use calibrated measuring equipment where applicable
• Follow all safety procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required
• Good verbal and written communication skills is required
