Job summary

You will serve as the Internal Quality representative for the Engineer Section reporting directly to the Quality Manager. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to make decisions that improve Marine Corps Engineer equipment readiness, maintenance quality, performance, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

As part of the MCPP team based in Jacksonville, FL, you will interpret technical manuals, monitor the Quality Management System, and coordinate with government QA specialists

Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge and application of quality assurance principles and techniques.
• Requires knowledge and understanding of maintenance management functional areas/MMO.
• Must have robust ability to use standard commercial word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and statistical software applications.
• Familiar with DoD publications and associated resources to include Marine Corps Publication Distribution System (MCPDS).

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed technical inspections on Engineer equipment.
• Interpret and communicate technical manual requirements to workforce and management.
• Analyze and display GCSS-MC, and MCPIC data to ensure equipment readiness for delivery to the customer.
• Monitor and update the Quality Management System Data Base (eQMS).
• Ensure customer quality complaints are answered properly and in a timely manner.
