Job summary

The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) seeks an Internal Quality representative for the Engineer Section in Jacksonville, FL. You will perform detailed inspections of Engineer equipment and analyze data to improve readiness, maintenance quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will collaborate with GCSS-MC, MCPIC, and the Government QA staff, ensure the Quality Management System is up to date, and respond to customer complaints promptly.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen eligible for U.S. government background check.
• Minimum of 4 years as a maintenance shop chief in USMC or Army Quality Control or 3rd/4th Echelon or depot level.
• Knowledge of GCSS-MC, DoD publications and related reports.
• Solid understanding of quality assurance principles and maintenance management.
• Proficiency with word processing, databases, spreadsheets and basic statistics.

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed technical inspections on Engineer equipment.
• Interpret and communicate technical manual requirements to workforce and management.
• Analyze GCSS-MC, MCPIC data to ensure equipment readiness for delivery.
• Monitor and update the eQMS database.
• Address customer quality complaints promptly and effectively.
• Interpret the Statement of Work for the Engineer section.
• Coordinate with government Quality Assurance Equipment Specialists and other counterparts.
