Job summary

Avtron Power Solutions Quality Inspector is a full-time, on-site role in Cleveland, OH. You will perform receiving, first article, in-process, and final inspections on parts, products and systems to ensure conformance with drawings, specs and PO requirements.

The position requires electronics/electrical/mechanical knowledge, ISO 9001-2015 experience, and familiarity with LOTO/OSHA. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge of electronics, electricity and mechanics including blueprint reading and engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 quality standard.
• Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to learn Avtron Power Solutions quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Performs receiving inspection of incoming components against drawings and PO requirements.
• Conducts First Article Inspections (FAI) on new or revised parts; documents results.
• Performs dimensional, visual, and functional inspections with proper equipment.
• Reviews supplier certifications and material test reports for compliance.
• Identifies and assists in disposition of nonconforming materials and products.
• Collaborates with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Performs in-process inspections during manufacturing operations.
• Performs final inspections after testing and before shipment.
