Job summary

Qualifications

• Two-year Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent two-year college/technical school.
• Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, correct, and document wiring and functional problems per diagrams and procedures.
• Test prototype models per engineering instructions and knowledge of electronic systems.
• Interface with production and engineering to record and correct nonconformances.
• Program and test PLCs used to control load step applications.
• Set up electronic components and protective circuits per test specs.
• Develop and build test simulations for engineering.
• Assist in training new testers in test techniques and operation of test equipment.
• Perform final inspection on all tested units.
• Promote a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
