Job summary

Bird Technologies Group Inc in Solon, OH is seeking a Receiving Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final material and product evaluations to ensure quality. You will be the contact for supplier-related concerns and report to the Quality Manager, collaborating with the Quality Engineer.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, conducting tests, maintaining equipment, and leading supplier corrective actions to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or applicable experience.
• 2–5 years Quality Assurance experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Electrical testing experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Describe quality policy, goals, and effects of not meeting requirements.
• Inspect and approve incoming materials against specifications and transfer to ERP; reject nonconforming items.
• Perform in-process and final electrical and mechanical inspections and communicate corrections to Production.
• Develop and maintain quality inspection work instructions with Quality Engineering.
