Job summary

Sky Limit Systems, LLC in Wisconsin seeks a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to inspect precision machined components using CMMs. You will perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to verify conformance with engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specs.

The role requires 3+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing, proficiency with CMMs and standard inspection tools, and strong attention to detail. AS9100 awareness and ability to work independently are preferred.

Qualifications

3+ years of quality inspection experience in a precision machining or manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience operating CMM equipment; programming experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Experience inspecting tight-tolerance machined components.
Knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace manufacturing standards is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined components.
Program and/or operate CMM equipment to verify dimensional accuracy.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
Identify and document nonconforming products and support root cause investigations.
Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, customer specifications, and internal quality procedures.
Maintain calibration awareness and proper care of inspection equipment.
