Job summary

Instrument Development Company in Mukwonago, WI, seeks a Quality Inspector to perform complex geometric dimensional inspections on received, first article, in-process, and finished products to ensure specifications are met.

Under supervision of the Quality Manager, you will generate inspection plans, use calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs, and document results with reports in the quality database. Strong GD&T knowledge and precision measurement are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 5 years related experience may substitute education.
• Able to read complex drawings and GD&T symbols.
• Experience with first article inspections and quality records.

Responsibilities

• Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications and tests.
• Inspect in-process production and communicate adjustments to production.
• Approve finished products and return non-conforming items for re-work.
• Document results in quality database and generate inspection reports.
• Generate inspection plans and first article inspection reports.
