Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Quality Inspector on 2nd shift in Royal Pines, NC. The role performs final and in-process quality inspections to ensure product conformance to specifications and conducts containment activities for quality issues.

You will support Quality Engineering to improve metrics, collect and input quality data into databases and tools, and interact with engineering to resolve defects.

Qualifications

• 2-year associate degree or 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills including email communication and navigation.
• No visa sponsorship or relocation offered for this position.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform final and in-process quality inspections across multiple product lines to ensure product conformance.
• Perform containment actions for quality issues identified internally and through warranty claims.
• Support Quality Engineering to drive actions that improve CONC, Warranty PPM, Final Yield, Rolled Throughput Yield, and Supplier PPM.
• Collect and input quality data into databases and other software (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, TDM, CQM, MQ1).
