Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Quality Inspector (Avery Creek) on 2nd shift. The role performs final and in-process inspections to ensure product conformance and leads containment actions for quality issues.

Salary is $23 per hour with core hours 4:00pm–2:30am, on-site at Avery Creek, NC. Qualifications include a 2-year Associate’s degree or a HS diploma with 1 year manufacturing experience, plus 1 year of quality inspection experience.

Qualifications

• 2-year Associate’s degree OR High School diploma with 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• 1 year Quality Inspection experience.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles; military service exempt from area limit.
• No immigration sponsorship (CPT/OPT/STEM OPT/H-1B etc.) eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform final and in-process inspections to ensure product conformance.
• Contain quality issues including sorting, final and in-process inspection, and process verification.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions to minimize quality issues.
• Collect and input quality data into databases and software (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, TDM, CQM, MQ1).
• Monitor and enforce ISO 9001 procedures and interact with engineering to resolve defects.
