Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a Quality Inspector for the Avery Creek site in Arden, North Carolina. This on-site role operates on a 2nd shift from 4:00pm to 2:30am and pays $23 per hour.

The Quality Inspector will perform final and in-process inspections, containment actions, and support quality engineering to reduce defects across multiple product lines. Strong data entry and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2-year Associate’s degree OR High School diploma with 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• 1 year Quality Inspection experience.
• No relocation benefit; within 50 miles; military service exemption.
• No sponsorship for immigration (CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform final and in-process inspections across multiple product lines.
• Perform containment actions for quality issues and validate suspect product.
• Support Quality Engineering to improve CONC, Warranty PPM, Final Yield and related metrics.
• Assist in the resolution of NCMRs and problem solving as needed.
• Input Quality data into databases and software (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, TDM, CQM, MQ1).
• Monitor and enforce ISO 9001 quality procedures.
• Interact with front end engineering to resolve quality defects.
