Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Inspector-I MFG. Quality on 2nd shift in Greenwood, SC. You will perform detailed quality inspections, calibrate equipment, and review drawings to ensure parts meet customer specs. You will document defect data and coordinate with suppliers on nonconforming items.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed and specialized inspection activities to ensure products meet specifications.
• Communicate issues to area supervisors and managers to support timely CAR resolution.
• Maintain records of defect data for historical database.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment for accuracy.
• Review drawings to identify defects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare Wisper DMRs for nonconforming items and coordinate returns with suppliers.
• Inspect reject parts with hold tags and document findings.
• Maintain and update critical part codes and record retention for components.
