Quality Inspector 2nd Shift

Location: Winsted, CT

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspections, at various magnifications, utilizing magnifiers, microscopes, etc.
  • Assure applicable inspection equipment is in calibration before use.
  • Maintain cleanliness & orderliness of inspection stations.
  • Report inspection results clearly and accurately.
  • Identify and segregate and initiate Discrepancy Reports for nonconforming product.
  • Comply with stamp control procedures.
  • Assure lot and sample traceability.
  • Read new and revised specifications when mandated.

Job Experience, Education, and Requirements:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing process.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Sitting for 5-7 hours a day.
  • Walking, pushing, carrying or lifting up to max. 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Standing generally.
  • Cannot have any visual color deficiency.
