Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe day-to-day activities required to inspect the company's products and processes. Work independently or as part of a team, under the supervision of a cognizant authority, to meet quality and schedule goals of the company.

Job Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on operational quality inspection experience, including knowledge of arithmetic involving decimals and fractions, and their application to use sketches and measuring instruments.
• High School Diploma.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, work from sketches, and use simple measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, drop gauges, etc.
• Must be able to perform visual inspection of products in a production environment.
• Willing and able to perform a wide range of physical activities, some requiring fine manual dexterity.
• Ability to communicate job problems to a supervisor.
• Basic computer skills, including Office, and specialized manufacturing software (SAP).
• Ability to recognize discrepancies in materials or processes.
• Must be willing to work as a team player as well as independently.
• Subject to a complete vision exam per NAS 410 standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• DQR Certification.
• 5 years of hands-on quality inspection experience.

Physical Requirements

• Specific vision abilities required, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, with corrected vision at 20/25 or better.
• Ability to work in a production environment and travel within the facility and organization to obtain necessary information.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs using proper techniques.
