Qualifications

Job description

Jabil is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in our new manufacturing facility in St. Petersburg, FL! Second Shift: M-F, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. OR 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. + O.T. on Saturdays

SUMMARY

Assist in the manufacturing line while ensuring the highest quality and striving for efficiency and excellence in all endeavors while adhering to all safety requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.
2. Inspect in-process and/or finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards.
3. Read and follow visual aids, engineering change notices, or established operating procedures, determine acceptance or rejection of product.
4. Work under close supervision of Manufacturing supervisor or another designated supervisor.
5. Follow standardized and routine written directions and visual aids for assigned quality assurance inspection operations.
6. Visually inspect products using magnifying glass, lot sampling methods, and first article checks.
7. Enter standardized information into computerized MES – (Manufacturing Execution System), using simple keystrokes to indicate pass or failure of board.
8. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
9. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Two years’ experience in a relevant production position or equivalent experience.
3. Must be able to stand for long periods of time throughout the shift and perform repetitive movements.
4. Ability to work on Saturdays.
5. Experience in printed circuit board/electronic manufacturing or a college degree in a related field is a plus.
