As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for verification of processes and validation parts during the manufacturing process, as well as conducting process and internal audits to ensure Molex's quality and performance standards are met. You will also maintain high levels of safety and workplace organization. The ideal candidate will have strong time management, organizational, and communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Shift- 2nd shift. Monday through Friday 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

What You Will Do

  • Support and validating setup, in-process, and incoming inspection of components and products using optical and mechanical measurement or test equipment.
  • Assist operators in reviewing and containing product quality by initiating reject (non-conforming) reports and leading containment activities.
  • Participate in problem-solving and data-gathering activities to address quality and cost issues.
  • Perform process and internal audits according to current QMS documents, process setups, and flow charts.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, inspection plans, engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • One (1) year or more of inspection or related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bi-lingual (English, Spanish)
  • Working knowledge of basic math, basic statistics, and SPC.
  • Training and/or experience in using quality measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
