Our commitment to pay range transparency fosters an equitable workplace where everyone can feel valued. The annual compensation range for this position is $32,100.00 - $48,100.00. The salary offered will depend on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, and skill level.

Purpose Statement:

Performs routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production. Visually inspects sub-assemblies and HLA level products using magnifiers or other tools, employing lot sampling methods or 100% inspection.

Key Job Accountabilities:
  1. Participate in root cause analysis activities as required.
  2. Enter standardized information into GSF.
  3. Supervise work area according to 5S standards.
  4. Perform routine and repetitive inspections to ensure quality at various production stages, visually inspecting sub-assemblies and HLA products using magnifiers or other tools, employing lot sampling or 100% inspection.
  5. Keeps supervisors informed and escalates issues when necessary.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Middle School certificate required.
  • Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT, Backend).
  • Six months of related manufacturing experience required; one or more years preferred.
  • Intermediate electronic manufacturing experience, including knowledge of workmanship standards, preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Other Qualifications:
  • Advanced reading, writing, and math skills (12th grade level).
  • Inspection skills and knowledge of PCBA and HLA product builds.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information.
  • Complete training for and maintain QA certification within six months of employment.
  • Basic PC skills (keyboard, mouse, software familiarity).
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
  • Handle PCBs by turning, flipping, and angling them.
  • Meet visual acuity requirements for close vision and inspection tasks.
  • Use general office equipment and materials.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment with PPE, in comfortable temperatures, with low noise and suitable lighting.
  • Require physical stamina, manual dexterity, fine motor control, and visual acuity for inspection and handling delicate components.
  • Spend most of the time standing or sitting, with some lifting and material handling.
  • Perform repetitive computer tasks related to quality records.
Travel Requirements:
  • Less than 40% travel expected.
