Position Overview:

We are currently seeking Two Sequencing Inspector Team Members for the 2nd Shift(2pm-10pm) at our Arlington, TX facility.

Summary:

Our Sequencing Inspector Team Members are key components of our organization. Team Members are expected to inspect all parts before parts are shipped to GM. Team Members must maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

General Job Duties:

  • Perform receiving inspection activities on supplier parts.
  • Document and file results of receiving inspection activities.
  • Create and manage Quality Notices (complaints) for suppliers.
  • Generate supplier scrap reports and debit memos.
  • Prepare Return to Vendor (RTV) memos.
  • Track and document cost recovery trends.
  • Organize and file rejection, scrap, and cost recovery information.
  • Support manufacturing departments with containment and inspection of supplier parts.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including LOTO and PPE requirements.
  • Identify and address quality issues effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and prioritize tasks to meet customer requirements.
  • Exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in a positive work environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts.
  • Assist operations in achieving daily production goals and departmental objectives.
  • Conduct daily process audits based on product audit schedules and requirements.
  • Create Quality Alerts and ensure proper communication flow.
  • Participate in containment activities.
  • Work overtime as needed in accordance with company policy.
  • Perform all assigned tasks according to SOPs, safety alerts, and quality alerts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
