Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 1st shift at the Greenwood, SC facility. The role includes performing detailed inspections, selecting appropriate equipment, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications. You will document defect data and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience. Relocation is not offered, and a 50-mile radius is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Preferred: 2 year technical degree in engineering and MS Windows skills.
• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed and specialized inspection activities to ensure products meet specifications.
• Select appropriate inspection equipment, methods, and techniques based on requirements.
• Maintain records of defect data for historical database.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain inspection equipment for accuracy.
• Review drawings and inspect structures to identify defects with cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and verify work per specifications.
