Job summary

Valence is seeking a Manufacturing/Operations technician in West Springfield, MA to navigate the Valence online system for QWI's, QAP's, specifications and other documents, and to maintain inventories, machinery and instruments for safe operations.

The role requires performing daily, weekly and periodic tasks as defined in OJT, ensuring a clean, safe work environment, and following Valence ROUTER procedures to correct input mistakes.

• Navigate Valence on-line system for QWI's, QAP's, specifications and other documents.
• Maintain and operate inventories, machinery and instruments necessary to safely perform the job function.
• Process all paperwork and department clerical functions in the performance of this job function.
• Perform all daily, weekly and periodic functions as defined in OJT.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Understand, and perform steps defined in the Valence ROUTER, follow Valence procedures on correctly filling out routers, corrections of input mistakes.
• Process job/parts with little or no supervision.
• Practice behavior which avoids damage to parts and protects the part from damage.

The position involves working with and around hazardous chemicals, paints and solvents. The majority of work is performed in shop conditions.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$20.00 To $24.00 Per hour.
