Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a candidate for a position located in West Springfield, Massachusetts. The role involves working with hazardous chemicals and paints in shop conditions, requiring strong attention to safety and maintenance of equipment.

The ideal candidate will navigate the Valence on-line system for documents, process paperwork diligently, and ensure a clean work environment. The compensation ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, with additional shift differentials included.

Responsibilities

• Navigate Valence on-line system for QWI's, QAP's, Specifications and other documents.
• Maintain and operate all inventories, machinery and instruments necessary to perform the job function.
• Process all paperwork and department clerical functions in job performance.
• Perform all daily, weekly and periodic functions as defined in OJT.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Understand and perform steps defined in the Valence ROUTER.
• Process job/parts with little or no supervision.
• Avoid damage to parts and protect the part during processing.

• Competently process all paperwork and department clerical functions in the performance of this jobs function.
• Competently perform all daily, weekly and periodic functions as defined in OJT.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Understand, and perform steps defined in the Valence ROUTER, follow Valence procedures on correctly filling out routers, corrections of input mistakes.
• Competently process job/parts with little or no supervision.
• Practice behavior which avoids damage to parts and protects the part from damage.

Compensation

Range: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour plus shift differential.
