Giesecke+Devrient ePayments America, Inc. is hiring a Quality Inspector to assist with QC inspections for products as they come off the production line in our manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes in-process QC and maintaining traceability documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in manufacturing, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong communication, attention to detail, and basic math/data entry skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
• Eyesight correctable to 20/20 for visual inspection; normal color perception.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to keep detailed records.
• Ability to focus and perform precision hand movements when operating a machine.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly, work around machinery.
• Ability to perform basic math including decimals and data entry with accuracy.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen; willing to work overtime.

Job Summary

The Quality Inspector will assist with quality control inspection efforts for product coming off the production floor in our manufacturing facility.

Duties & Essential Job Functions

• Assist with In-Process quality control (QC), concentrate on product coming off the production floor.
• Continuously audit work areas for identification of the acceptable/rejection of product within the process.
• Advise production supervisors of any observed non-conformity.
• Maintaining lot control traceability documentation during manufacturing process.
• Use quality control equipment to measure quality of product coming off production floor.
• Perform related job duties as required and assigned.

• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail. Reason through problems involving set-up and operation.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, including addition and subtraction of decimals. Ability to perform data entry operations with accuracy.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to employment
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Requires sitting at a desk in front of a computer screen for 8 or more hours per day.
• Requires visual acuity to operate a computer, read a computer screen, read policies and manuals
• Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer, phone, fax, scanner

The pay range for this position is $19.00-$21.00 and is eligible for an annual bonus.
