Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) in Bolingbrook, IL is hiring a Quality Inspector to support quality control at the production floor. You will conduct in-process inspections, audit areas, and report non-conformities to supervisors, ensuring lot traceability and product quality.

The role requires at least 1 year in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this full-time position.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
  • Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to visually inspect materials. Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens. Requires normal color perception.
  • Strong verbal and written communication. Ability to keep detailed and accurate records.
  • Ability to focus and perform precision hand movements when operating a machine.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly, able to work around machinery.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail. Reason through problems involving set-up and operation.
  • Able to perform basic math calculations, including addition and subtraction of decimals. Ability to perform data entry operations with accuracy.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to employment
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Job Summary

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Requires sitting at a desk in front of a computer screen for 8 or more hours per day.
  • Requires visual acuity to operate a computer, read a computer screen, read policies and manuals
  • Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer, phone, fax, scanner

The pay range for this position is $19.00-$21.00 and is eligible for an annual bonus. Benefits offered to eligible employees include:
