Job summary

Global Packaging Group in Durham, NC is seeking a Quality Inspector for 1st and 2nd shifts. You will conduct inspections from raw materials through final product, ensuring conformance to company specifications and documentation accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience. You will work with production teams to verify process inspections, tag identification, and proper load and packing lists, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Basic math and measurement skills and use of standard instruments.

Responsibilities

• Verify inspection activities meet company requirements.
• Conduct sample in-process inspections.
• Inspect finished goods and verify load tag information.
• Verify shipment load tags and packing lists before shipment.
• Perform daily walk-throughs to ensure procedures are followed.
