Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking an Inspector Packer for the 2nd shift (4:00pm–12:30am) at our Hillsborough, NJ facility. You will pack products into containers, seal and label, and prepare items for shipping while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role requires a high school level education and up to 1 year in manufacturing or packaging. You will inspect products, operate basic machinery, and keep work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school / Grade 10 level education.
• 0–1 year of manufacturing/packaging experience.
• Ability to read simple instructions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Pack products into containers or cartons.
• Seal and label packages.
• Prepare products for shipping or storage.
• Inspect products, materials, and containers for quality.
• Identify and report defects or issues to supervision.
• Operate or assist with machines, such as conveyors.
• Start/stop or monitor equipment.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Meet production goals while following procedures.
• Communicate issues to supervisors.
• Be reliable and follow instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
